Lucky living creature Waking up is good, It means we can still have breakfast And walk around some silly ideas We had always kept for the next day. Getting up is nice, It means we can still walk around The bedroom that smells like sweat And the burning flavour of internet And spiders in their webs. Strange as it is, Complex as the little bits Coming together as one In this puzzle I'm building. Going out is fine, It means we can still breathe Something like air or smoke or smog Or the clouds of dirty fog Lucky we're alive Going up is good, It means we're not down here forever It means we can still build a castle Maybe lock some princess in a room And make her ours forever Make her hours forever... Lucky we're alive Going on is always a thrill, It means it can end in a minute Or last a lifetime so It's even better if one likes surprises, I hate surprises Lucky I'm still alive Damon Durham.
